The Las Vegas Raiders need their quarterback of the future. They can get that in this draft. It's just about where they get one and who it is. They have a chance to take one in the first round at pick No. 13, which would not require them to give up any draft capital.
They can take one on day two or even day three and just try to develop him. Or, they could trade up to get the guy they want the most - Jayden Daniels, who has a connection with Antonio Pierce from their days at Arizona State.
Tom Telesco, the Raiders' new general manager, has been given the green light to trade up; however, we know they will only do it for the right price. Luckily for the Raiders, ESPN analyst Field Yates put together a pretty good trade for Las Vegas to trade up.

Yates suggests the Raiders trade their No. 13 pick, their second-round pick, and two first-round picks, one in 2025 and one in 2026. The Raiders get the No. 2 overall pick from the Washington Commanders.
The Raiders would likely try to negotiate this and bring the capital down, but I think I would make this trade if I felt like Daniels was the guy they needed to get to the Super Bowl in a few years.
We just have to wait and see what the Raiders do on draft day. My best guess is that there will be some chaos.
